Reboot with Joe: Fully Charged - 7 Keys to Losing Weight, St
Joe is my inspiration point to start not only to juicing but also to the healthy living. Watching his first film (Fat, Sick and Nearly Dead) was the beginning to my radical change in my life. It was the period of a difficulty in my time in many ways, health being primary. I lost some good amount of weight, cured my insulin resistance and got rid off the fatty liver syndrome all because of juicing. Then, I got sucked into the world of juicing and healthy nutrition so heavily that I ended up writing my own book, all due to the main inspiration of Joe's great work. I think we should see Joe as a health evangelist. Then I saw this book, Fully Charged, and read it pretty quickly. The book mainly touches on points beyond juicing. The language of the book is very candit, sincere and reflects the views of a layman. He never dictates any points, but shares his experience. Anyone who gets into the healthy living passes through all these points that Joe mentions in his latest book. It is the art of healthy living, via the way we treat ourselves, through our relations with food, and most importantly, the way we treat the time, and how we live it. I guess, if there is one book read about healthy living, I'd say it is this book. The most fantastic part of the book is the way Joe wrote it. He is like any ordinary human being, with weaknesses in some and strengths in others, like many of us. He never claims to be Mr.Ideal with six packs, avoiding the good parts of this mortal life. Instead, he shares his journey, and the things he learned throughout this journey. I must admit that I found it very useful even for me, who has been heavily reading and watching on healthy living since 2011. Read the book, and you wont regret it. His main message, which I also agree is that juicing is a great way to beging a journey towards healthy living, but it is not everything. This book is mainly on the "other things" beyond juicing, explained in a very simple and straightforward way. There are of course nice touches on juicing, quite naturally, but if you are one of those, who discovered and experienced juicing, and then wondering what next, this is the book to read. I read the Kindle version, and enjoyed it very much. Once again, thanks Joe!!!
