I have used this Gluco juice for a while now when in need of a quick glucose drink for when my sugar goes low .. I am a type 1 diabetic and have been for the last 30 years...And these little bottles are so handy for your handbag or pocket. much much better than the Glucotabs .. The only reason I have given 4 stars is that the screw top is very tight to remove.. I get on better with the other brand ,in a pouch which as a better and easy screw top..Quick 3 day delivery, securely packaged.I have integrated Type 1 diabetes into my life for 60 years now and my main problem is hypoglycaemic unawareness. I use these when out with a walking group, as being in liquid form the glucose is absorbed through the stomach wall faster than with the tablets. They are also light and easy to carry in a rucksack.I love the taste of the berry burst, it is my favourite.I would recommend these drinks to anyone who wants a quickly absorbed source of glucose, particularly those with Type 1 diabetes who are involved in energetic work/hobbies.This item is used for relief of symptoms of hypoglycaemia. The cap is difficult to release and requires pre-loosening in order for the contents to be available during a hypoglycaemic episode. However, the effect of drinking a phial relieves symptoms within a minute or so. Convenient to use if the cap is loosened beforehand.These are brilliant. When my son was first diagnosed we always bought jelly babies, but like anyone would after a while, he got sick of them so these are his new alternative and they are nice. He doesn’t like many things at all and to find something that he does like is a God send. Highly recommendAs a Type 1 diabetic I am conscious of blood sugars dipping and have purchased glucose tablets before but usually need at least 3 to solve the challenge. However, this works a lot faster and I don’t always have to have drink a whole container. Excellent and it tastes nice.
