SO THE BOTTOM LINE FIRST:You really want this juicer! Hands down the best juicer on the market right now. This comes from someone who juices like it was my day job -which is not :).. But yes, I juice like crazy. We all do love juices and do it for over a decade so I have been through many juicers and I know what is out there.WHY IS THIS JUICER IS THE BEST OF THE BEST:Without beating around the bushes it is the best because"- it is a workhorse!!! It is super strong and when it juices it does not shake, it is not flimsy and it is no nonsense. It is solid like a rock juicer that is born to juice!- It gives you MORE JUICE FROM WHATEVER YOU JUICE THEN ANY OTHER JUICER! Yes, I benchmarked it with four other juices , one other that I own and grabbed others from close family members so we could all have a fun to compare which juicer will yeld more juice from the same amout of apples, or carrots or celeryand guess what... this juicer won EVERY SINGLE TIME!- the pulp that comes out of it is fine and dry like a paper. It is as dry as some top of the line centrifugal juices that I don't consider worthy because of obvious health benefits of the slow masticating ones (that do not heat juice and do not kill enzymes or cook vitamins in the process).- It has great simple attachments that let you regulate the "squeeze" so you can open or close the diaphragm of the opening at the end to regulate when you are juicing things that contain different amounts of fiber.EQUALLY GREAT FOR SOFT STUFF LIKE GRAPES, LEAFY STUFF AND FIBERY LIKE CELERY, PINEAPPLE OR CARROTS-Yes, it is awesome. I love it because it will juice grapes as perfectly as celery. While other get chocked on celery with the fiber buildup or will juice poorly grapes spitting half fruit along with the pulp.- amazing green leafy juicer.. leaves you with tinny bit of pulp as the rest is out juiced. What it does not have? It does not come with those funky attachments for making pasta..So.. is t hat a problem? No. I have already one juicer, older Omega model from years ago that come with them and between you and I .. I never once used them. I prefer to go pro with my pasta, so I eather do all things by hand or use a machine that is pasta dedicated not to mention that family gave me long ago allt he pasta attachments for my Kitchen Aid pro mixer so really, truly I don't need another stuff that I never use and much rather focus on juicer being juicer and doing the juicing best in the world.Yes, this juicer is a true CHAMPION of all juicers out there. Just watch some videos how other juicers process veggies and you see the whole machine struggling and wobbling and shaking especially thespout part. It is insane. I also don't like those that push those briquettes of pulp through the end as at the end of the day you really don' t need the pulp coming out in strings of tubes instead of one.. because the more parts, the m ore pressure and the more work juicer has to do the easier for things to go wrong.Do you want a perfect juicer that is born to juice and that is what it does superbly? This is your juicer.Word to the first timers of the masticating juicers who are switching from centrifugal ones:So, you probably know all there is to know about the benefits of slow masticating juicers. Howeverwhen they use the word SLOW in the description of the juicer, they really mean it. So be prepared, it operates with the same or slower speed that of a meat grinder. It is not zzzzzzzzzzzom and booom and done. No. But this is because those fast zoooom and boom ones really cook your juice and you don't want that. So the slow juicers process juice slowly and to perfection. I think that the word slow is only valid in comparing with those fast juicers that are way less healthy come to end juice product but otherwisethe speed is what the speed is. It is not slow, it is normal speed. It is only slow if you are switching from the other type. You simply need to mind shift here and say to yourself "okay, this is healthier so this is what I have to get used to from now on".One more tip: get yourself a station that you can sit while juicing. Either buy a high kitchen chairand juice sitting or put it on the floor or get a small table and use some chair because the processis such that you can do much better sitting and relaxed, listen to some good music, podcast or audiobook..you can juice the whole semi track worth of carrot and wont' even notice.I only juice standing if I am making a quick glass of juice for myself but if I am going for a family quantity I always like to sit down for this.Whenever I don't have time or energy for daily juicing then I juice every three days as juice is good for 72 hours in most cases. So.. between not having time to juice at all and not having any juice vs. drinking maybe not made to order juice but one or two day old still beats the heck out of drinking some water or other stuff that would have zero benefits. So I got this big nice glass jar with lid and juice for three days when needed and just stuck it in the fridge and see it disappearing fast as my family really never say no to a ready made juice. This is absolutely best juicer out there. I highly recommend it and I know that if you try it and see the results you will love it too.I love it sooo much that if I were to go to some other planet and were asked to pick one Earthy juicer to take with me.. this is the juicer that would go in space with me.Go for it!I've been using this model for a little over a year now, primarily for juicing celery and after 13 months I wanted to share my opinion. It is well made and a solid machine and does an okay job turning my celery into juice. My biggest complaint is that there's 7 parts to assemble and disassemble every time I use it and sometimes it seems that the parts just don't work correctly together.Sometimes the juicing screen (inside drum) doesn't seat correctly and you have to fiddle with it to get it just right. My biggest gripe is the celery end cap which, in my opinion, is flawed. The end cap is a nuisance and there's no way to set it correctly, it's either too tight or too loose. The green inner ring sometimes extrudes out the cap while juicing, making it a useless part of the machine. There should be a setting on the end cap instead of just tightening it and hoping to get it right.Overall, the machine does the job, but sometimes it's frustrating to use. The parts just do not work well together and for this reason I would never purchase it again.Fresh juice all the timeIt is a good product. I use it to juice celery, tomatoes and carrots. It’s hard to clean! If you use soft fruits or veggies it tends to clog the screens, so it makes a mess to clean, and a longer time to get all the pulp out of the screens. I purchased this one because of the so called easy cleaning of it! Easy it is not! For me at lease.UPDATE 7/15/2020: (Yes... one day later after my original review) I've been juicing larger batches in one sitting (6-10 cups worth of juice) so that I can transfer the juice to a large pitcher and save them for later, and thus avoid having to juice every day. While it still works well and the pulp comes out dry, a recurring issue is that the chamber (where the auger is crushing the produce against the metal strainer) gets clogged with pulp easily. This seems to worsen with cucumbers with skin on, even after chopping them up into small cubes before feeding into the juicer. The only practical solution is to turn off the juicer, disassemble, rinse out the parts (there is a LOT of pulp that falls off during this process), then reassemble and continue juicing. It's a little annoying having to do this two or three times, as a previous and cheaper juicer that my friend owned did not do this, BUT considering how dry the pulp comes out, I'd say that this is a minor setback that I can deal with.7/14/2020: After doing some research, I decided to go with a masticating slow juicer for larger volume yield, better nutritional value, better taste, and longer shelf life in the fridge (as I hate having to juice every day and prefer to juice in big quantities and store them in the fridge for later).I'm not some juicing guru who's been juicing for 20 years and has gone through dozens of brands and models; I'm just a novice who got tired of buying expensive juices from stores. Having said that, I think this does the job very well so far. I've used it about 4-5 times now for celery, apples, cucumber, ginger, and lemon with no hiccups. The pulp comes out very dry, so I know I'm getting my money's worth! It produces a little bit of foam and spits out the occasional cucumber seed into the juice, but not as much as the old no-name brand juicer my friend owns.I'm not sure if the auger is metal or very heavy duty plastic, but it seems sturdy. The product comes with a cleaning brush, which comes in handy when removing the pulp from the metal strainer. It's very easy to (dis)assemble. Hopefully this holds up for at least a few years with heavy daily use! Will update if anything comes up.Been using an omega 8006 for close to 10 years (still going strong) and finally decided to upgrade mainly to squeeze as much celery juice out as is possible. The MM900HDS does a great job at this as my side by side test shows.I weighed 700 grams of celery and juiced it on my old 8006 (glass on the left) and the new one (glass on the right). The MM900HDS pulp was way dryer and it produced significantly more juice. Over time this thing will pay for itself. Have used now everyday for over a week and it consistently produces much more juice as compared with the older model. There is only one downside and it is that it is more difficult to clean the strainer part as celery gets stuck in the small holes and you need to scrub it quite vigorously after every use to properly clean. Not a deal breaker but it is annoying. Overall I’m happy.I've compared this juicer side by side with my current juicer (Ventray) and I've yet to see the difference besides the price. The juicing itself is good but I'm not happy with the disassembly and cleaning. Sure the pulp comes out dry but the ads fail to mention that the pulp also remains inside the drum and around the auger. This makes it hard to pull out the screen out. The tip of the screen is a challenge to clean even with the brush. Definitely more time consuming. Also the celery juice end cap is so tight that it's next to impossible to remove without trying to pry it (yes I do align the dots). So if you're someone who struggles with arthritis in your hands, this is not the device for you!I bought this juicer and it came defective; the pulp came out hot, the machine was steaming and it smelled like burning plastic. After returning it, I purchased another one, which arrived with a different set of issues; the pulp backed up to the point where it could not turn the auger, could not clean the screen and could not disassemble for cleaning. It also smelled again like burned plastic. I returned it again and am sticking with my old juicer, especially after having to pay $500 for this cheap product!this is my first review ever on amazon.ca.... this was a terrible machine to use in terms of having to take apart the grinding assembly and clean it after inserting about 4 or 5 stalks of celery. each stalk was pushed through gently. i'm going back to my vitamix and nut milk bag until i can find a reliable alternative. the only think i liked about it was that it was quiet...First I will say that the MM900 does indeed yield more juice, but it's had so many flaws. It kept getting jammed and the pulp was going in between the auger and the drum. Plus, the small screen was really, really difficult to clean. There are no help videos on this juicer and customer service was not helpful. As much as I really wanted to like this machine, I had to return it.
