This was a little bit heavier than I expected but functioned beautifully when I was trying to press apples and get juice. It also worked well for pears even though it took a lot more pairs to make pear juice. Excellent build quality and value for the cost. It came relatively assembled. It is a larger size than I expected. Relatively easy to clean if you are used to cleaning fruit objects.
